Primary Duties: 1. Ensures quality patient care. 2. Assesses and identifies opportunities to manage organizational resources with fiscal responsibility promoting effective allocation of resources and revenue generation. 3. Services which are ensured, implemented, assessed, monitored, and/or evaluated by the Manager include: Nursing, Social Work, Volunteer, Disaster Preparedness and Contingency Planning, Performance Improvement, Medical Record Documentation System, Standards of Care/Standards of Practice, Clinical Resources and Regulatory Agency Activities: OBRA, State Department of Health, State Trauma Registry, and JC. 4. Develops and implements processes to manage human resources, materials, and finances within the established Emergency Department budget. 5. Is accountable for knowledge of and expertise in the management of an Emergency Department. 6. Is accountable for analyzing data necessary to evaluate delivery of care and outcome of care in support of continue value improvement for all customers. 7. Performs other duties as assigned.
