Job Summary As a member of the nursing team with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You'll be responsible for the care of our patients according to their individual plans, unit routines, and hospital policies. Essential Functions Provides direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse, consistent with policies and procedures of the unit. Responsible for direct day-to-day care of assigned residents/patients including dressing, bathing, transporting and feeding. Maintains patients’ environment/work area/equipment, and communicates any equipment malfunctions to the appropriate department/unit personnel. Complete and maintain required number of CNA educational hours. Participation in select unit quality monitoring activities under the direction of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader. About the unit The 6CCT cardiac intensive care unit is a 12-bed unit. This position requires at a minimum two 8 hour shifts every 6 weeks. There is potential to work up to part time hours when needed, and available. About the Practice Provide care to community members for walk-in and non-emergent appointments. We service all ages, and our scope of treatment has a wide range based on patient need.
