Facility: Summers Corner Emergency Department Location: Summers Corner Department: Emergency Room Position Type: Full Time (36 hours) Work Schedule: Weekend Days- 7a-7p What You'll Do Provides direct and/or indirect nursing care under the direction of the Department Director and/or Charge Nurse Delivers safe, effective, and professional nursing care to assigned patients Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the healthcare needs of patients Cares for a diverse patient population, from infants to geriatrics (unless otherwise specified) Works collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes Maintains a customer-focused approach and supports department goals Delivers nursing care aligned with established practice standards and clinical guidelines Must be willing and able to float to comparable nursing units as needed What We're Looking For Current unrestricted RN license ED Experience Required Successful completion of nursing service orientation program BLS, ACLS, and PALS required NRP preferred (provided during training if not currently certified) TNCC required within one year of hire IV therapy competency within one year Annual participation in Skills Fair and completion of required competencies Specialty certification and/or participation in professional nursing organizations encouraged Why Choose Novant Health?
