Registered Nurse (RN) - 5 Medical - 4 or 8 Hour PM shifts

We Are Hiring: Registered Nurse (RN) - 5 Medical - 4 or 8 Hour PM shifts Schedule Details: Must commit to two 4 hour shifts from 7:00PM-11:00PM and two 8 hour shifts from 3:00PM-11:00PM per week. Must also be willing to commit to weekend and holiday rotations. This is a part-time position with a set schedule. The Medical Unit at WMH is a fast paced, 53 bed unit serving a variety of patient populations. The staff here provide care for patients with a diagnosis of Sepsis, Acute/Chronic Respiratory conditions, including but not limited to: Trachs/Vents, Cellulitis, Urinary Tract infections, chronic conditions such as COPD, Heart Failure, Diabetes, patients on Dialysis, and acute drug and alcohol withdrawal. Our staff are also well prepared to care for medical patients with mental health conditions and those patients with Dementia. There are approximately 120 staff on the unit, including: RN’s (tenured and new), CNA’s, Nurse Interns, Health Unit Coordinators, Staff Development Specialist, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Charge Nurse, Assistant Manager, and Manager to provide full support to the staff. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - 4NW- Ortho/Neuro - 0.9 FTE - 12hr Days

4NW is a 31 bed mixed acuity care unit that specializes in the care of orthopedic and neurological patients. Our Orthopedic patients include joint replacements, traumatic fractures and injuries to the extremities, and back pain. 4NW also cares for a variety of both medical and surgical neurological patients including stroke, movement disorders, traumatic brain/spinal injuries, and mixed neurosurgical patients. All nursing staff are NIHSS stroke certified and all caregivers receive specialized training to promote safe and early mobilization of post-surgical joint patients. We are very proud to represent two Centers of Excellence recognized by the Joint Commission. The Joint Replacement Center of Excellence for both Hip and Knee focuses on creating the best and safest patient experience for our joint replacement patients. The Stroke Center of Excellence focuses on the best care and treatment for our stroke patients. Hours: This 0.9 FTE commits to 36 hours of 12-hour shifts (0700-1930).
