Job Overview As the Nurse Manager – Emergency Room at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN, you will lead a dedicated team delivering emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population spanning all age groups—from infants to geriatrics—and a wide range of clinical conditions in a fast-paced, highly dynamic emergency department. We apply extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), ventricular assist devices (VAD), intraortic balloon pumps (IABP) and Swan-Ganz catheters routinely. Our complex patient population requires hemodynamic monitoring, critical medication management, management of organ failure, maintenance of systemic perfusion and high technical skills. This unit has a low nurse to patient ratio and resource nurses on unit. Schedule: This position will be working 0.75 FTE (60 hours every two weeks). The shift length will be 12 hours on the night shift. This position will also work every third weekend.
