This position is 60 hours per two weeks on the Night shift, for 12 hour shifts, and every third weekend rotation. Job Responsibilities The Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting the professional nurse/caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patient and/or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and the reordering and stocking of supplies. The Nursing Assistant does not work autonomously but works under the direction of a professional nurse. The Nursing Assistant may be given a patient care assignment based on unit needs and the discretion of the manager/charge nurse. Provides basic patient care by performing routine duties to include: Personal grooming, bathing, toileting, Feeding, Skin care needs (clean and sterile dressing changes), applying ointments/creams, Oral hygiene, Specimen collection/testing, Position/ambulating, Changing linens, Promptly answers call lights. Assists the nurse in monitoring patient condition. Accurately takes and records weights, input/output, blood pressure, temperature, pulse rates, respiration, oxygen saturation. Places patient on/off monitors or equipment. Reports unusual findings to the RN in a timely manner. Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharge of patients. Orients patient and their family to the environment. Assures the patient’s belongings are accounted for, documented upon admission, transfer and discharge. Transports patients, equipment, specimen and supplies. Assures patients get to appointments on time. Uses transfer belt when assisting patients with transfers and/or ambulation. Cleans sets up, and maintains rooms and equipment. Orders and stocks supplies. Accurately documents tasks performed on appropriate form. Performs other tasks as needed. Required Qualifications License/Certification/Registration Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification required. Ontrack participants much be able to obtain Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification upon completion of the OnTrack program. AND ONE or more of the following: Successful completion of Fairview’s OnTrack Nursing Assistant training program or another Fairview sponsored Nursing Assistant program. Or Six months of recent direct care experience in a long term, home care or acute care setting. (Appropriate roles may include, Nursing Assistant, PCA, Resident Assistant or Emergency Room Technician) Or Current enrollment in an LPN, RN or Nurse Practitioner program, and completion of one (1) semester of clinical rotation within the program. Or Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire. This requirement does not need to be maintained throughout employment and is not required if subsequently transferring into another Nursing Assistant or Nursing Station Tech or Nursing Station Attendant position. Job Overview Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Perianesthesia (PACU) team at University of Minnesota Medical Center West Bank Campus and Masonic Children's Hospital, located on the West Bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis, MN. Clinical trials advance our clinical services, bringing the very newest insights in patient care. UMMC West Bank is a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Minnesota and in turn has students, residents, fellows placed in this OR daily. The West Bank has 15 operating rooms, 1 EP Lab, 1 Cath Lab serving an average of 36 cases per day. We provide innovative surgical suites for adult and pediatric patients and are currently renovating additional OR's to complement the existing 4 larger OR's. Surgeries in this unit are team based among these specialties: Ortho/Spine/Oral (mainly adults), Peds CV-Hearts/Cardio Thoracic, Peds Neuro/Generals/Urology/Bariatrics, Peds Transplant, Adult Urology, GYN, ENT/Eye/Plastics, Peds Dental and Da Vinci Robotics. RN/ Registered Nurse - Neurology

Job Overview We are looking for an RN to join our Neurology team! This is a full time (1.0FTE) day position that will be based out of our Maplewood Clinic. Typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00PM. The registered nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional nursing care for patients in an ambulatory care setting. While following established standards and protocols, the registered nurse delivers care that is sensitive to the unique needs of the ages served by the clinic. Job Overview Fairview Southdale Hospital seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join their Hospitalist Program. This will be a dual role with responsibilities that include acting as a House provider and Hospitalist. Medical Assistant Learner

Job Overview The Medical Assistant Learner performs limited medical assistant tasks and responsibilities while studying toward a Medical Assistant Diploma, within limits of current training. Work is guided and overseen by a Lead Medical Assistant and Clinic Manager. May assist Physician and Advanced Practice Professional with procedures and treatments as trained and directed. This position may perform some administrative duties including patient check in and out, scheduling referrals and follow-ups, filling out forms, mailing correspondence, obtaining signatures, and directing phone calls.
