Position Description: Certified Surgical Technologist The Surgical Technologist is a member of the health care team who performs technical support in the perioperative period under the direction and supervision of a RN according to accepted clinical standards of care. Assistant Nurse Manager Summary Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills. Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process. Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information. Performs other duties as assigned.
