Under general direction and in accordance with hospital standards and policies, the Staff Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing procedures in the Heart & Vascular Center and Radiology Departments. This includes areas such as Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab, and Stress Testing. As a Staff Nurse, you must be flexible and adaptable to work variable hours based on patient schedules. Specialization in a cardiovascular-related specialty is preferred. Completion of ACLS and BLS certifications. Demonstrated critical care knowledge and skills, particularly in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythm strips. High-level proficiency in obtaining and maintaining peripheral vascular access. Strong professional conduct, communication, and interpersonal skills. CCU (Coronary Care Unit) experience is required.
