RN - Infusion (Occasional)

Day (United States of America) Department: 100 - 846500 TG - Cancer Clinic Position Description: Under the supervision of the Clinic Manager, the RN for the Infusion Center plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates nursing care for patients. The RN participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing personnel and other patient team members in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The RN assures all nursing services and patient electronic medical records successfully meet QOPI, JCAHO, ONS Chemotherapy Administration Safety Standards and ACoS compliance/certification, while increasing survivor ability and lessening the burden of cancer. Qualifications: 1. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Louisiana. 2. CPR required 3. Oncology experience required 4. Minimum knowledge of two years' experience in nursing preferred. This is an occasional position to work on an as needed basis.

RN Administrative Coordinator (Occasional)

Varied (United States of America) Department: 100 - 830500 TG - Patient Placement Position Description: Responsible to the Patient Placement Management and/or Assistant Vice President of Nursing services for the coordination and management of Patient Placement and nursing activities during the shifts assigned. Provides leadership and is a resource person for the staff in resolving complex problems. Collaborates with nursing leaders and other departments in planning and managing efficient and appropriate patient placement. Qualifications: Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in Louisiana. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. BSN degree preferred. Minimum two years nursing experience.
