Reports upon first notice any environmental situation which could pose a threat to the safety or well-being of the Masonic Village Residents. Responds to Fire and Disaster alarms and drills according to procedures. Assists residents to safety during an evacuation. Observes residents and answers call bells in a timely manner to respond to residents' care needs. Reports observations, changes, unusual conditions or reactions to supervisor or appropriate discipline in a timely manner. Takes appropriate action as requested or required by the situation. Notifies family of change in residents' condition or hospitalization according to Masonic Village policy. Performs accurate assessments of resident needs and strengths. Assists in the development of the plan of care as well as in the completion/update of the RASP and other mandated forms as needed and within mandated timelines. Implements the plan of care and oversees care provided by assigned nursing personnel. Communicates effectively and in a non-aggressive manner with residents, family members, visitors and co-workers. Establishes and maintains collaborative communication with providers, other health professionals and Masonic Village departments. What You Have: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Current LPN licensure by the PA State Board of Nursing. CPR certification (prior to or upon employment).
