Shift Differentials: 3rd shift - $4.00/hour Weekends - $3.25/hour $12,500-20,000 Sign-On Bonus ( New Grads: $12,500, 1+ Years of Experience: $20,000 ) OSF will invest in YOU on Day 1! Candidates with 5+ years of direct experience will receive 24 hours of frontloaded Vacation and Holiday time Overview POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan) Licensure/Certification: Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment. Overview POSITION SUMMARY: The RN Hospital utilizes the nursing process and the standards of nursing care in the delivery of patient care and manages assigned personnel and promotes collaboration among the allied services. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associates Experience: All experience noted must be as an RN. One year experience in an OB department within the past five years. Licensure/ Certification: Must be licensed as a REGISTERED NURSE in the State of Michigan. Current CPR Certification and Maintain Certification. Must successfully complete Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course when assigned by manager and maintain proof of certification thereafter. Must successfully complete ACLS within 12 months of hire or transfer and maintain certification thereafter. Other skills/ knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
