Overview As an Outpatient Registered Nurse - Cardiology , you will be r esponsible for delegation, supervision, and provision of nursing care for a designated group of patients through utilization of the nursing process. Qualifications Licensure/Certification/Registry: Current RN license in the State of Illinois required. Maintain current BLS Healthcare Provider certification. ACLS certification is strongly preferred. Maintain Provider for PEARS or PALS certification (required within 12 months of hire). Experience: Cardiology experience, specifically telemetry reading and stress testing strongly preferred. Meets credit range for Clinical Ladder levels as follows (12 months experience as a registered nurse is required in order to apply for promotion in the clinical ladder): Clinical Nurse I: Registered Nurse who achieves a range of 0-12 credits on the Clinical Ladder Behavior Grid. BSN preferred. Clinical Nurse II: Registered Nurse who achieves a range of 13-24 credits on the Clinical Ladder Behavior Grid with evidence of behaviors from at least two categories of the Grid. LVN Floor Nurse The LVN Floor Nurse will maintain the standards of Nursing Care and practices within the facility to meet the physical, psychosocial, and rehabilitative needs of the residents. The LVN will work closely with the MDS coordinator, Assistant director of Nursing and the Director of Nursing to ensure the best possible functions of the facility are met.
