The work is carried out according to standards of professional nursing practices, facility policies, rules and regulations, and State and Federal regulations. SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The RN Nursing Supervisor must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and there must be current registration with the professional board of nurse examiners of NJ. Experience in the nursing field. Supervisory experience in long term care is required. JOB SKILLS: Must have thorough knowledge of nursing theory, techniques and practices. Must have experienced working with Pointclick and MDS Must have knowledge of medications, their proper dosage and expected results. Must be able to recognize and identify symptoms and to make decisions quickly in emergencies.
