Medical Assistant

Overview The Medical Assistant is responsible for efficient and courteous registration, transfer and discharge of patients within established policies and procedures; thoroughly compiles and types of medical information for patients' records and statistical reports and maintains current and accurate patient account receivables. The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for the comfort and well-being of patients in accordance with physicians' orders. Surgical Technologist

Overview Owns specific responsibilities for maintenance and policies for various responsibilities within the Operating Room. Takes direction from management of specific tasks to support operating rooms that are of the highest level of quality and safety, in meeting the needs of key doctors, surgeons, and other critical Operating Room. Responsibilities Sets up tables, instruments and supplies required for specific operation. Carries out surgical asepsis. Assists surgical team during operative procedure. Assists in the preparation for surgical procedures. Assists in the preoperative preparation of patients. Assists with table equipment, positioning of patients, application of plaster casts and dressings. Prepares operative specimens, places in preservative solution and delivers to Laboratory for analysis. Assists in transporting patients to and from the Operating Room, Recovery Room, and patient area. Assists in cleaning operating room, equipment and instruments following surgery. Cleans and stocks storage room. Prepares Operating Room for the next case or next day. Records data on patients' record data sheets and O.R. logs. Must rotate on call as required. Surgical Technologist

Overview Owns specific responsibilities for maintenance and policies for various responsibilities within the Operating Room. Takes direction from management of specific tasks to support operating rooms that are of the highest level of quality and safety, in meeting the needs of key doctors, surgeons, and other critical Operating Room staff. Special Instructions Certified surgical technician Monday-Friday 11:30am-8pm Responsibilities • Sets up tables, instruments and supplies required for specific operation.
