How you make a difference The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides a full range of psychiatric services to incarcerated patients in accordance with state scope of practice, collaborative protocols, and established policies. This role delivers direct psychiatric care while also providing clinical consultation to mental health and healthcare staff. The position works within state guidelines to support consistent, high-quality psychiatric services across the facility. Clinical consultation and supervision are sought as required under applicable collaborative practice requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide psychiatric evaluations, treatment, and follow-up care while exercising independent medical judgment. Monitor and manage psychotropic medications, including effectiveness, side effects, and required follow-up. Collaborate with mental health, medical, and administrative teams to ensure consistent psychiatric and mental health services. Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation and participate in required meetings, consultations, and on-call coverage. Support crisis intervention, referrals, transfers, and emergency or involuntary treatment processes as allowed by scope of practice. Additional Details 1 day on site, typically a 10 hr day. Currently this is scheduled for Mondays, however, could be changed to another day during the week. On call 24/7, however, most contacts would occur three times per day during batched calls times. The purpose of this is for medication verification and ordering. Qualifications & Requirements Education Master in Science of Nursing or Post-Master’s Certificate from an accredited nurse practitioner program with a specialty in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan. Experience Minimum one (1) year of experience as a PMHNP required. Corrections experience in a PMHNP role preferred. Licenses/Certifications Unrestricted current license to practice as a PMHNP in the state of practice. Current board certification as a PMHNP. Current DEA Registration. Current BLS certification. How you make a difference The Certified Medication Technician is responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role ensures compliance with medication protocols and participates in audits and performance improvement activities. The technician documents medication administration and patient observations accurately while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality standards. They assist in training new staff, attend team meetings, and support overall clinical operations. Additional duties include equipment handling, supply management, and floating to various patient care areas as needed. Key Responsibilities Collects and documents physical, psychological, and social data of patients, assisting in assessments and treatment planning in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act (NPA). Implements individualized treatment plans and executes clinical interventions as directed by Health Care Practitioners, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Provides direct patient care, including administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, assisting in medical procedures, and responding to health emergencies. Conducts controlled substance and sharps inventory, maintains compliance with standard precautions, and assists with electronic data input and record management. Basic knowledge of all medications being dispensed. Correctional setting experience is preferred. How you make a difference As a LPN MAT Coordinator under the direction of the MAT Medical Director, you will provide comprehensive, intensive clinical services to members enrolled in the MAT program, both on-site and off-site. Your responsibilities include delivering medical and support services such as wellness education, administering injections, coordinating labs and pharmacy services, monitoring vitals, and facilitating communication with psychiatric and medical providers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that members receive the appropriate medical care and support throughout their treatment journey. Key Responsibilities Assist in assessing physical, psychological, and social aspects of patients and plan individualized treatment programs in consultation with RNs and other staff. Carry out individualized treatment programs, including administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, and assisting in medical or minor surgical procedures as directed. Adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols, including counting controlled substances, using proper safety techniques, and responding to health emergencies. Document nursing encounters using SOAP charting and communicate essential information to relevant healthcare staff. Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on healthcare practices and protocols. Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Experience Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience Licenses/Certifications Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment. How you make a difference The RN Travel supports patient care delivery through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation under the supervision of Charge Nurses. This role involves administering medications, assisting in diagnostic tests, documenting care, and supporting surgical procedures as needed. The nurse ensures compliance with safety protocols, medication handling, and clinical documentation standards. They participate in care planning, emergency response, and interdisciplinary communication. The role requires 100% travel to various locations to fulfill staffing needs.
