Position Summary: We are looking for an Advanced Practice Nurse to work within our Float Pool within our Critical Care neighborhood. The Role requires integration of knowledge, research, and experience to promote excellence in patient care and improve outcomes. Float Pool APRN's will receive an additional $10/hour for clinical assignments worked within the Float Pool. Key Responsibilities: Performing a complete history and physical exam and interprets findings. Diagnosing and managing common clinical problems of the identified patient population. Planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment plan in an interdisciplinary manner. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies and therapeutic interventions necessary to augment the patient's physical findings and treatment plan. Communicating these findings to the health care team, patients, and families. Participating in discharge planning with the health care team.
