CDU RN Position Summary The Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) is cardiac, cardiac/peripheral vascular procedures with continuous telemetry monitoring and limited critical infusions. The CDU RN is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. The CDU RN acts as a patient advocate. The CDU RN provides support, information and direct care and utilizes equipment and technology skillfully and is technically competent in nursing procedures.
