Educational/Experience Requirements: Required Minimum Education : Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience Preferred Experience : Critical Care and Med/Surg background. Responsibilities Responsible For Development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of clinical programs and services for designated patient populations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Clinical Practice Coordinates the multidisciplinary screening and evaluation of patients seen in the transplant practice at MSH and approved satellites. The multidisciplinary team includes the transplant surgeons, hepatologists, nephrologists, social work, nutrition, pharmacy and finance. This care includes but is not limited to: performing in the role of Scrub Nurse or First Assistant to the Surgeon and is delivered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. These functions are guided by the documented nursing care plan. The responsibilities are primarily directed to technical skills including the use of surgical instruments and equipment.
