Prepares supplies and equipment for surgical procedure following preference cards. 8. Assists with sterilization and maintenance of sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment. 9. Monitors inventory; orders; and restocks supplies, instruments, and equipment. 10. Removes out-of-date items and discards or reprocesses following established guidelines. 11. Assists with the general cleaning duties of the department. 12. Performs equipment checks as assigned. 13. Assists with the proper recording of patient charges. 14. Assist in positioning of patients for procedures, ensuring the patient has been correctly prepared for surgery.
