Director of Nursing (DON) Facility: The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing Location: Southampton, NY Schedule: Full-Time Salary: $180,000–$200,000 annually About the Role The Hamptons Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations and ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, and resident care in our 280-bed skilled nursing facility. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily nursing operations across all units. Lead and support ADONs, Unit Managers, and nursing staff. Ensure appropriate staffing, scheduling, and coverage. Monitor quality of care, clinical outcomes, falls, infections, wounds, and other key indicators. Ensure accurate clinical documentation and required assessments. Lead nursing education, competencies, and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain compliance with NYS DOH, CMS, and regulatory requirements. Participate in surveys, audits, investigations, and Plans of Correction. Address resident and family clinical concerns and ensure timely follow-up.
