About the Role

As a CNA, you play a vital hands‑on role in supporting residents’ daily needs, comfort, and well‑being. You’ll work closely with nursing staff to ensure every resident receives safe, respectful, and dignified care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding

  • Take and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other data

  • Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs

  • Support mobility, transfers, and repositioning

  • Observe and report changes in condition or behavior

  • Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs

  • Maintain clean, organized resident rooms and common areas

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff

  • Follow all infection control, safety, and facility policies

  • Participate in shift reports, training, and team meetings

Qualifications

  • Active Connecticut CNA certification

  • 1 year of LTC/SNF/hospital experience preferred (not required)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient‑centered approach

  • Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast‑paced environment

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality care
