As a Med Aide (Med Tech) you’re responsible for administering medications and assisting residents in a variety of ways to support their individual treatment plans. Your ability to identify, diagnose and communicate concerns with not only residents, but with their families, physicians and staff is vital when it comes to ensuring that our residents are thriving.

  • Work with the clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed in a timely matter

Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed and provide compassionate, resident-centered care. Maintain compliance with infection prevention, HIPAA, and all federal, state, and facility regulations. Promote a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents, visitors, and team members. Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership. Qualifications Current North Carolina Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required. Current North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing preferred. Current CPR certification required. Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic health records preferred. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
