As a Med Aide (Med Tech) you’re responsible for administering medications and assisting residents in a variety of ways to support their individual treatment plans. Your ability to identify, diagnose and communicate concerns with not only residents, but with their families, physicians and staff is vital when it comes to ensuring that our residents are thriving.

  • Previous experience working with the elderly, specifically those with Alzheimer’s or other dementia related conditions

Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed and provide compassionate, resident-centered care. Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership. Qualifications Current North Carolina Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification required. Current North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing preferred. Current CPR certification required. Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
