EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE · Current State of Texas License as a Registered Nurse required. · Bachelor of Science (BSN) Degree in Nursing required. · If nurse does not have a BSN upon hire, the nurse must be currently enrolled in BSN program with graduation within 12 months of assigned position. · Certification in nursing leadership required (e.g., CNML, NE-BC, NEA-BC, CENP) · If nurse does not have certification upon hire, the nurse must obtain leadership certification within 24 months of assigned position. · Master’s degree (MSN, MBA, MHA) preferred. · One (1) year of management/leadership experience is preferred. · Certification in practice area preferred (e.g., CCRN, PCCN, CMSRN, MEDSURG-BC) · Membership in nursing leadership and specialty professional organizations preferred. · ACLS required within 12 months of date of employment.
