Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the nursing team, ensuring that our high standards of care are met at all times
  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and programs to promote optimal resident care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and communication
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
  • Foster a culture of transparency, respect, and open communication among staff, residents, and families
  • Participate in budgeting and financial management to ensure the center's financial stability
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence
  • Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering compassionate care

Requirements:

  • Current RN license in the state of Illinois
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
