Position: Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA)

 

Crotched Mountain School & Village, a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, is looking for a Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) to join our outstanding team of professionals dedicated to enhancing the lives of our students.

Crotched Mountain School (CMS), a program of Seven Hills New Hampshire, hosts innovative special education, recreation, arts, music, and vocational programming for students, aged 5-21, who are on the autism spectrum, and/or have disabilities and other challenges that are better supported in an alternative, least-restrictive environment to their local public school system. Students have the option to live year-round in the appointed residences on the sprawling campus located in Greenfield, New Hampshire. Responsibilities

  • Administer medications to stable students under RN or LPN supervision
  • Document medications accurately on the Medication Administration Record (MAR)
  • Maintain a clean, organized medication room and cart
  • Report any medication errors or unexpected effects
  • Monitor and reorder medication supplies
  • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding medication needs
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
  • Continuously update your knowledge with 20 hours of CEUs bi-annually

Hours:

Saturday & Sundays 6am-10pm

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have a valid, verifiable, unrestricted MNA license issued by the NH Board of Nursing
  • Minimum of one year of experience passing meds (two years preferred)
  • Physical requirements include (but not limited to) bending, stooping, lifting 50+ lbs, kneeling, twisting, stooping, etc.
  • Must be comfortable working with kids age 5-22 with intellectual disabilities, and often with behavior challenges
