Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our skilled nursing team on a part-time basis. The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards during assigned shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during assigned shifts
Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to residents
Monitor and assess resident conditions; respond to changes in clinical status
Serve as clinical resource and mentor to nursing team members
Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies
Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Assist with staffing coordination and shift assignments

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in good standing (state-specific)
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred
Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
