Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery in Houston, Texas. As an RN at our facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to deliver exceptional rehabilitation services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administers enteral feedings, oral, injectable, and intravenous medications and treatments within the LVN scope of practice as prescribed by the physician and per facility policy.
Ensures all aspects of delivery of care to residents by nursing assistants are completed within the established time frames according to Resident Care policies and procedures.
Performs and is co-responsible for narcotic counts as per Resident Care policies and procedures.
Dispenses medications and treatments by all routes as ordered by the physician within established time frames, ensuring no medications are left unattended.
Documents medication and treatment administration in a timely and accurate manner.
Completes/updates electronic documentation as required.
Maintains and updates nursing license in compliance with state regulations.
Performs other related duties as required or requested.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
College degree or the equivalent in work-related experience.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
Must have an active state RN license.
Must be listed in good standing as confirmed on Nurse Registry.
Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care is strongly preferred.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.

This job operates in a professional office environment with minimal exposure to dust, chemicals, or noise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
