Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Eagle Crest Rapid Recovery in Houston, Texas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administers enteral feedings, oral, injectable, and intravenous medications and treatments within the LVN scope of practice as prescribed by the physician and per facility policy.

  • Ensures all aspects of delivery of care to residents by nursing assistants are completed within the established time frames according to Resident Care policies and procedures.

  • Performs and is co-responsible for narcotic counts as per Resident Care policies and procedures.

  • Dispenses medications and treatments by all routes as ordered by the physician within established time frames, ensuring no medications are left unattended.

  • Documents medication and treatment administration in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Completes/updates electronic documentation as required.

  • Maintains and updates nursing license in compliance with state regulations.

  • Performs other related duties as required or requested.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • College degree or the equivalent in work-related experience.

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.

  • Must have an active state RN license.

  • Must be listed in good standing as confirmed on Nurse Registry.

  • Strong knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care is strongly preferred.

  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
