We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sedation/ Recovery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a state-of-the-art Office-Based Lab (OBL) in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing vascular and interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on sedation management, monitoring, and post-procedure recovery. This role is critical in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and monitor moderate sedation during interventional radiology procedures.

  • Continuously assess and document patient vital signs, sedation levels, and overall status.

  • Provide post-procedure recovery care, ensuring a smooth and safe transition from sedation to full consciousness.

  • Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, discharge instructions, and follow-up plans.

  • Collaborate with interventional radiologists and the medical team to optimize patient care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of sedation administration, patient responses, and recovery progress.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, safety protocols, and infection control policies.

  • Assist in managing emergency situations, including airway support and cardiovascular monitoring.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in recovery, sedation, PACU, ICU, or interventional radiology settings preferred.

  • Proficiency in administering and monitoring moderate sedation.

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.

  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

  • Knowledge of vascular procedures such as angiograms, venograms, prostate artery embolization (PAE), and genicular artery embolization (GAE) is a plus.
