Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ventilator Unit team at Bridgewater Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a leading long and short-term care facility in Binghamton, New York. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and promoting a positive and supportive environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to residents on our ventilator unit, including Assessing and prioritizing patient needs, Developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the attending physician, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment.

  • Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and review patient care plans, ensuring that each resident receives individualized care that meets their unique needs and preferences.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure that our care services meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
