School-Based Registered Nurse - Tampa, FL Area

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate school nurse committed to making a meaningful impact. This position in the Tampa, Florida area offers a consistent 37.5-hour schedule over five days per week.  

Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Registered Nurse license
  • 2 years of Registered Nurse (BSN) experience 
  • School-based experience is strongly preferred, but not mandatory
  • CPR certified 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide diabetic monitoring and ongoing diabetes management for students
  • Implement seizure precautions and follow emergency response procedures as needed
  • Deliver first aid, emergency response, and triage care in the school setting
  • Administer medications in accordance with student health plans and school protocols
  • Provide G-tube care and feeding support for students with medical needs
  • Perform ventilator and tracheostomy care, including suctioning as required
