Position Overview:
A district in the Muskegon, MI area is seeking a dedicated School Nurse to support a medically complex student during transportation. This position involves riding the bus with the student in the morning and afternoon to ensure safe travel to and from school. This is a unique opportunity to provide critical, one-on-one care in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ride the bus with a medically complex student during morning and afternoon routes
Provide direct medical support and monitoring during transportation
Ensure student safety and respond to medical needs as required
Collaborate with school staff and follow all care plans and protocols

Requirements (Non-Negotiable):

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
LPN/LVN may be considered pending IEP requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with medically complex children
Trach and/or ventilator experience strongly preferred

Additional Details:

Student is new to bus transportation
Medical needs and training requirements are being finalized
No daytime responsibilities currently required outside of bus support
Caseload and expectations to be confirmed during interview
