You will provide one-on-one care to students with complex needs in engaging, supportive classroom environments and on the movemeeting at students homes and accompanying them to school on the bus.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active MO RN or LPN license in good standing (verified via Nursys)
  • Minimum of 1-2 years pediatric experience, preferably in ICU, ER, or schools
  • Excellent clinical judgment, flexibility, and experience working with special needs children
  • Proficient with computer-based charting and multitasking
  • Comfortable working across PreK12 grade levels

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled nursing care for 1:1 assignments with students (GT tube, trach care, seizure monitoring, wheelchair assistance)
  • Support additional students and staff in the special education classroom
  • Accompany assigned students to and from school via bus
  • Serve as clinic support across the district during absences or as needed
  • Maintain precise documentation in electronic health records
  • Participate in field trips and offer coverage in various school settings as required
