Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conduct assessments, follow protocol, report medical or behavioral changes, and document findings
  • Perform admission duties: complete assessment, MAR, TAR, POS, review chart set-up, physician orders, and order medications
  • Manage discharges: complete documentation, notify physician and guardian, and arrange transportation
  • Provide wound care: follow protocols, irrigate, pack, and remove dressings
  • Lead CNAs and CMTs, ensuring compliance with facility protocols and policies
  • Respond effectively to emergency situations
