Qualifications:

  • Active RN or LPN license (Connecticut or compact state accepted)
  • Prior experience providing care for patients with a tracheal T-tube, including suctioning
  • Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 nursing services to a high school student for the duration of the school year
  • Monitor and respond to the student's clinical needs, particularly respiratory management
  • Maintain accurate health records and communication with school staff and parents
  • Promote student safety and participation in the classroom
