This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and offers a clear commitment through June 11, 2026.

This part-time schedule consists of 21 hours per week, working Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. As a valued member of the student support team, you’ll take an active role in student care, including providing direct nursing interventions and supervising health needs during school bus commutes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license (required)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced school environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Willingness to ride the bus with students as part of daily duties

Core Responsibilities:

  • Delivering direct student care and routine health assessments
  • Managing medication administration and maintaining health records
  • Responding to medical emergencies and developing care plans as needed
  • Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and additional school staff
  • Providing health education to students and staff
  • Supporting safe student transport by riding the school bus during assigned shifts
