
School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | East Weymouth, Massachusetts

We are seeking a dedicated licensed RN or LPN to support student health needs in a dynamic educational environment near East Weymouth, MA. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and offers a clear commitment through June 11, 2026.
This part-time schedule consists of 21 hours per week, working Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. As a valued member of the student support team, you’ll take an active role in student care, including providing direct nursing interventions and supervising health needs during school bus commutes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license (required)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced school environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to ride the bus with students as part of daily duties
Core Responsibilities:
- Delivering direct student care and routine health assessments
- Managing medication administration and maintaining health records
- Responding to medical emergencies and developing care plans as needed
- Collaborating closely with educators, parents, and additional school staff
- Providing health education to students and staff
- Supporting safe student transport by riding the school bus during assigned shifts
