What You’ll Do

  • Lead and oversee all nursing operations within the facility

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centered resident care

  • Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

  • Oversee clinical systems including MDS, care planning, and documentation

  • Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team on operations and resident outcomes

  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa (or compact state), or ability to obtain Iowa licensure prior to start

  • 5+ years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

  • Prior experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred

  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations, MDS, compliance, and quality measures

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop nursing teams

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
