Requirements:
- Current PA LPN license in good standing
- Previous experience in school nursing or with pediatrics/adolescents preferred
- Strong understanding of seizure management and emergency protocols
- Hands-on experience with feeding tubes
- Compassion, reliability, and excellent communication abilities
- Willingness to work full-time hours at a single school site
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 nursing care to an 18-year-old student during school hours
- Monitor and respond to seizure activity, administering medication as directed
- Manage feeding tube use including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and the students care team
- Maintain clear documentation of care and communication with relevant stakeholders
- Prioritize the students safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
