Make a real difference this summer in the Mount Juliet area supporting a student in a vibrant school environment. This rewarding contract opportunity runs from June 1st to July 25th, with weekday hours of 8:15am 11:45am. You'll be assigned to one school, focusing your care on one student who requires feeding tube assistance. Bus riding is not part of this role, allowing you to start your day on campus and finish before lunch.
Experience as an RN or LPN/LVN in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued. Virtual panel interviews provide a comfortable, accessible process, and full support with onboarding is available. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN or LPN/LVN license (appointees must provide proof of licensure)
- Prior experience in school health services or pediatric care preferred
- Able to confidently manage feeding tube care for pediatric populations
- Compassionate, patient, and professional with strong communication skills
- Reliable and punctual, adhering to the set schedule
- Willing to complete any required onboarding and training
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct ancillary support for a student with a feeding tube
- Monitor and record health status following school protocols
- Collaborate closely with school personnel and healthcare team as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all policies for student safety and care
