School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Angola, New York

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license in New York
Prior experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
Strong assessment, clinical, and communication skills

Comfortable working with K-12 populations
CPR and First Aid certification required
Familiarity with student health recordkeeping and protocols

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to students with acute or chronic health concerns
Administer medications and perform medical procedures per physician orders
Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state regulations
Promote wellness initiatives and illness prevention throughout the school
Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies or injuries
Educate students and staff on health topics and disease prevention
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student health needs and plans
