About the Role: Twin City Health Care is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to-
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, direct and manage the nursing services department.
  • Develop, maintain and periodically update written nursing policies, procedures, manuals, objectives and philosophies.
  • Implement plans of action to correct deficiencies.
  • Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies, charts, etc.
  • Develop and maintain a quality assurance program.
  • Develop and implement a nursing services organization structure.
  • Participate in surveys and inspections by government agencies.

About you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:
  • Is a graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Is currently licensed by the State of Indiana as a RN or LPN.
  • Is experienced or trained in nursing services administration, rehabilitation or geriatric nursing.

The registered professional clinical nurse (RN) is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum, which includes assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The clinical nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care, achieve outcomes and enhance operational efficiency. The nurse adheres to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements. Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience.
