Required Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia RN or LPN license
  • Recent trach care experience (within the past year)
  • Previous work in school or pediatric settings is preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on nursing care to a preschool-aged student throughout the school day
  • Utilize trach management skills to ensure the childs safety, comfort, and well-being
  • Monitor and document health status, communicating changes as needed to appropriate school personnel and guardians
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and healthcare professionals to create an inclusive, nurturing environment

Complies with all company safety policies and practices. Assists in relevant health and psychiatric teaching for client and family. Serves as a role model for clients and peers. Shares responsibility for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans and nursing care. Effectively communicates with the medical staff, receives verbal/written orders, and takes care to minimize abbreviation or other errors. Participates in team conferences, sharing knowledge, information, and ideas among team members.
