Qualifications and Experience:

  • Expertise in managing gastrostomy care, bladder catheterization, diabetes support (including CGM, insulin administration, and carb counting)
  • Familiar with seizure action plans and administration of emergency medication (EpiPen, Benadryl, etc.)
  • Ability to respond to urgent health needs calmly and efficiently
  • Skilled in supporting students with ASD and developmental delays
  • Bilingual Spanish skills a plus, but not mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective parental and staff communication

Responsibilities:

  • Review, update, and implement seizure and health care plans for assigned students
  • Deliver staff training on crucial medical procedures
  • Build partnerships with families and gain familiarity with students’ ongoing care needs
  • Remain on call to provide swift response to medical emergencies during assigned hours
