Key Qualifications:

Understanding of ASD and developmental delays; able to provide care for students aged 422 years
Skilled in assisting during both hypo- and hyperglycemic events
Capable of maintaining and reviewing health care plans and seizure protocols
Bilingual Spanish skills a plus, though not required
Previous experience delivering staff training and educating non-clinical personnel on care procedures is valuable

Responsibilities:

Rotate across student locations, supporting individual students with direct medical care
Review and update seizure and health plans to ensure appropriate protocols are in place
Train and educate staff on medical procedures and emergency response
Serve as a point of contact for parents, building strong lines of communication and familiarity with each students medical profile
Remain on-call for urgent health needs during assigned hours
Administer routine and emergency medications including EpiPen, Benadryl, and insulin
