School Nurse (LPN) - Hayward, CA

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Current and valid LPN/LVN license
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, particularly ages 4-22
  • Competence in care for students with ASD and developmental delays
  • Familiarity with direct care procedures for medical needs such as gastrostomy, bladder catheterization, diabetes and insulin management (including CGM and carb counting), as well as recognition and response for hypo- and hyperglycemia
  • Comfortable overseeing and administering medications (epi-pens, Benadryl, etc.)
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
