Key Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform diapering and other personal care tasks discreetly and sensitively
  • Skilled in working collaboratively with home health professionals and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for one elementary student throughout the school day
  • Deliver specialized care including trach suctioning, trach monitoring, and g-tube feeding/care
  • Assist with daily routines such as diapering and mobility, ensuring student comfort and dignity
  • Participate in transportation: meet at the school, accompany the student to and from their home via bus, and coordinate hand-offs with the home health nurse
  • Maintain accurate, timely health documentation and communicate effectively with the educational and healthcare teams
  • Foster a nurturing, safe environment where the student can thrive both medically and academically
