School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Horseheads, New York

$21.50 - $45 / hour

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, active New York State RN or LPN License (RN strongly preferred)
  • Prior experience in school nursing, pediatric care, or disability support preferred
  • Skillful in medication administration, G-tube feedings, and nebulizer treatments
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educational staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care, including medication management and medical procedures, to students in a classroom setting

  • Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in accordance with school and state regulations
  • Liaise with teachers, paraprofessionals, and parents regarding student health plans
