We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly organized Director of Nursing (RN) to lead our clinical team and ensure the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.

Position Summary

The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations, ensuring compliance with state regulations, supervising nursing staff, conducting client assessments, and collaborating with caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional home care services.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all clinical services provided by the agency.

  • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments and develop individualized care plans.

  • Supervise and support nursing staff and caregivers.

  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards.

  • Review, implement, and monitor physician orders and care plans.

  • Provide clinical guidance and support to caregivers and office staff.

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and clinical audits.

  • Participate in client care conferences and case management activities.

  • Investigate and resolve clinical concerns and incidents.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency policies.

  • Assist with staff education, orientation, and ongoing training.

  • Collaborate with community healthcare providers, hospitals, and referral sources.

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory or management role.

  • Previous home care, hospice, private duty, or community health experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of New Jersey home care regulations and standards.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with electronic medical.

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area.
