Aspire Senior Living New Florence, a premier resident-focused care provider, is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. About the Certified Medication Technician Role:

As a Certified Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in our care team, assisting with the administration of medications to our residents in accordance with their individualized care plans. Certified Medication Technician will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the highest level of care and comfort for our residents. Certified Medication Technician responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with our facility's policies and procedures
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' conditions or side effects
• Maintaining accurate records of medication administration and resident responses
• Collaborating with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Providing direct care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities and support with mobility and transfers
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents

Requirements:

  • Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification and active license in the state of Missouri

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

  • Availability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends
