GENERAL OBJECTIVES: 

  1. Plans and coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for clients utilizing the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice.
  2. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with other clinical personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing practice.
  3. Supports the philosophy and goals of the individual clinical area.
  4. Supports the shared governance vision and nursing obligations of membership which guide the practice of all nurses at Valley View Hospital. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved. 
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date. 
  • Must have a minimum of 1 year RN work experience.
  • Experience working with an EMR is a plus.

SALARY RANGE:

  • $32.68- $48.06/hour ADN
  • $33.99 to $49.98/hour BSN 
  • Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
  • Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN, BSN, MSN
