Take on an impactful role supporting students as a Registered School Nurse for a limited-run, part-time contract. This in-person opportunity near Paterson, NJ, offers a chance to provide vital care and foster a healthy school environment. With five positions available, you'll join a dedicated team delivering district-wide nursing support across multiple school buildings for the month of July 2026.

Highlights of the Role:

  • Part-time commitment: 20 hours per week
  • Duration: July 1, 2026, through July 31, 2026
  • Four openings: 8:30AM12:30PM; One opening for Night School (hours to be determined)
  • Onsite, district-wide coveragedirectly serve school staff and students
  • Collaborate with a skilled team in a dynamic educational setting

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active and current NJ School Nurse RN licensure and credentials required
  • School-based nursing experience is a must (clinical-only backgrounds not eligible)
  • Ready and able to start quickly due to immediate need for credentialed professionals
  • Fingerprinting for both agency and district, recent TB test, and physical will be needed for onboarding
  • Must be physically present at assigned schoolsremote work not considered

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to students and staff
  • Respond to health concerns, administer medications, and perform routine health screenings
  • Act as a key resource in promoting overall student wellness
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate health records
  • Serve as a resource on health policy and procedures throughout the district
